MY THOUGHTS ON THE TIPPING POINT

In the book "The Tipping Point," the author, Malcolm Gladwell answers many questions that people often ponder. This is a great book to help one understand trends and why people do the things they do in order to exercise success and grow their brand. I read this book when I traveled to Tampa over the weekend and found it very insightful! Gladwell's first lesson is letting your idea spread like fire once it reaches the tipping point. It's the where your idea crosses from being interesting to a few people to a "can't live without" product for many. This is true for many applications such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, SnapChat, etc. These apps once started out small and then took off and now almost everyone has all of these applications. His second lesson is focusing on those who specialize in coming up with great ideas. It talked about how they are connectors, salesmen and mavens. These three types of professionals will most definitely set you up for

Luke Bryan concert in Gainesville

Last Thursday, I went to the Luke Bryan concert in Gainesville and had such an amazing time. I am a huge country music fan, as I've said before, and I was so happy I got to see Luke Bryan for the second time! It was a super last minute impulse decision and was probably one of the best decisions I've made in a while. I was working in the Newsroom all day and was supposed to have my birthday party that night and was not feeling it that night. So within the hour, I decided to move my party to Friday, get tickets for my friend and I and head over to the concert. It was held at this family-owned farm that had a ton of acreage and was out in the middle of no where. We parked out in a field and walked over to the stage where we ran into so many of our friends. What we thought was going to be a girl night turned into a huge party with all of our friends. Old friends, new friends, it was great. We worked our magic and got right up front to see the performers. First, Chase Rice, a countr

This summer when I went to Nashville we went to a lot of different restaurants and checked out what the city had to offer. Upon arrival, we went to TopGolf and played for two hours. It was a lot of fun, but I totally sucked. I highly recommend going to the TopGolf in Nashville. It was a nice atmosphere and gave off a good vibe. Although it's kind of expensive, you get plenty of time to become "good." Topgolf Nashville: The Ultimate in Golf, Games, Food and Fun The premier entertainment and event venue in Nashville with fun point-scoring golf games for all skill levels, upscale bar food and drinks, music and more! We took a long walk around the city and I got to see my DREAM JOB location which is CMT in the heart of the city. It really inspired me to work harder and towards that end goal. (It's the dream I've had my whole life.) We also ate at an fun restaurant called Hattie B's and they served hot chicken. I thought it was good but super spicy, but
