This article by Ingrid K. Williams is very inspiring if you like spontaneous travel. I loved reading it because it gave advice on where to go, what to do and the pros and cons of the different places in Quebec. It is a timeline describing the places they went and what they were able to do there. I have only visited Canada once and it was a very peaceful place with beautiful lakes and hiking trails. I hope next time I visit I'll be able to go to Quebec! All throughout the news, we see the encouragement from different stations regarding the perks, benefits and different reasons why you should travel abroad. There are many beautiful places to see and great interesting things to learn about. In a recent study posted by NBC News, they listed five scientifically proven health benefits of traveling abroad and why it is encouraged. In this article, there was a joint study between the Global Commission on Aging and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies. They stated that travel makes you healthier. The study found that a woman who vacations twice a year at most show a significantly lower risk of suffering a heart attack than a woman who travel only about every 6 years. This is also true for men.
