LEARN TO TRAVEL, TRAVEL TO LEARN

If you're interested in traveling, but haven't had the opportunity to travel, here is a Ted Talk video by Robin Esrick who explains why traveling is important for you and why you should do it. He is originally from South Africa (hence where the accent comes from) and he hosts the TV show "World Travels." I highly recommend getting inspired by this video! Learn to travel -- travel to learn: Robin Esrock at TEDxVancouver Robin Esrock's success as a global adventurer, travel writer, TV producer and international TV personality was no accident, although it did start with one. Struck down on his bike at a Vancouver intersection, Robin hobbled away with a broken kneecap, and one year later, a modest $20,000 insurance settlement.

ROAD TRIPPING THROUGH CANADA ON A BUDGET

When I was very little, my family and I visited Canada. There were beautiful lakes, mountains and scenery and I have always wanted to take a road trip through the country as an adult. I haven't found the money to go or the right time, but I plan to go as soon as possible. I always love traveling on a budget and have read numerous articles on the subject and found this one to be my favorite. When you get a chance, take a look! How to road-trip Canada on a budget Canada is big and beautiful, but climate, distance and the high cost of domestic travel make it hard to get to know her. Having the freedom to throw your stuff in the trunk and set off as you please makes self-driving a tempting way to explore this frequently spectacular country.

EXPEDITION HAPPINESS- A MUST SEE!!

If you have ever wanted to watch a movie about spontaneity adventure with your significant other, look no further than Netflix. The movie Expedition Happiness is about a couple from Europe who decide to drop everything, revamp an old school bus and travel the world with their dog, Rudy. It was a self-made film capturing jaw-dropping scenery and an exploration of a lifetime. You get to witness their challenges, sacred moments and the true reality of traveling by bus. I have watched this movie four times and still could watch it all over again. Be sure to check it out! SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

Image
If you are ever in search of a fun and interesting place to visit, Seattle, Washington is the place to check out! The people give off such a chill, genuine vibe and there were endless things to see. From the food and entertainment to the views and people, it was one of my favorite places to visit. It was a quick weekend visit, but there was much to see and do! Here are a few pictures from Pike's Place Market. The floral arrangements were beautiful and the men working at the fish market were hysterical! They would throw the fish up in the air and catch them again. They caught everyone's attention! We went to the first Starbucks ever built and operated and had some coffee while we were there. It was so cool to see how it started as such a small little shop and now it is all around the globe! While we were there we went to Century Link Field to see a Kenny Chesney concert. We were on the floor and right next to the stage. The acoustics in the stadium were amazing and the v

A WEEKEND IN DENVER

If you are ever in Denver and you're wondering what you should do, I'm your girl. At the beginning of this year, my older brother moved to Denver for work and has loved it ever since. He thinks it is such a great place for young professionals and is a very lively town. I have gone to visit him many times and have never found myself bored twiddling my thumbs. I have made a "Weekend Schedule" that you can follow for a fun-filled weekend in the city! Friday Afternoon: Alright, you've landed in the city and first things first, check out the spooky airport and all of its quirks. It's very eerie if you read about all of the conspiracies that the airport has to offer from the "New Order" murals to the red eyes of the demonic horse. Here is a link to gain some knowledge. How the Denver Airport Became an Icon of the Illuminati Welcome to Urban Legends, a monthlong collection of articles dissecting persistent myths, unexplained phenomena, shared ni

WHY AIRBNB'S ARE WORTH IT

A lot of times, when I travel with friends, we always like to stay in an Airbnb. An Airbnb is essentially someone's home in which they either rent out a room or the entire house for a certain price depending on the number of people staying in the house. There are Airbnb's all over the world and most times they end up being cheaper than staying in an actual hotel; however, sometimes most people can be a little sketchy towards staying in someone else's home. I found an interesting article that I would like to share with you all. It shows some really nice places to stay that are posted on Airbnb. I was in awe when I saw some of these places! Check it out!! 10 Airbnbs That Are So Cool You'll Want To Stay Forever | Places To See In Your Lifetime Airbnb is one of the best things to ever happen to travelers. This sharing economy platform has made it incredibly easy to people rent their extra space (from a spare room to an empty house) to others. And, while Airbnb is known a

HAWAIIAN LIFESTYLE

If you have ever visited Hawaii, you know the tranquil vibe it has to offer. If you are planning on visiting, you are in for a treat. After seeing the crystal clear water, breathtaking mountains, healthy vegetation and soulful people you will never want to leave. While visiting Hawaii with my family, it automatically became my favorite state that the US has to offer. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcoming, cool refreshing glass of fruit infused water and a beautiful lei that was made out of natural, fresh and beautiful foliage. The weather was so light, crisp and sunny. It was nice surprise after being on a plane for over 12 hours cramped up next to the random person sitting next to me on the plane. I reside in Florida, so it was definitely a very long and uncomfortable flight, but as soon as I stepped foot off of the plane, the worries and discomfort just slipped right out of my mind. We had rented a car to take us from the airport right to the Wailea Beach Resort

ARAPAHOE BASIN, COLORADO

Ahhh, hello! Good to be back!! Today I am sharing with you a lovely Snapchat story of mine from when I was in Colorado for vacation. This is footage of the breathtaking Arapahoe Basin! It was absolutely stunning. It was about a thirty minute drive of jaw-dropping views. We were on our way to Keystone Resort for a snowboarding trip and had to get through the basin before reaching the resort. What a site to see!!! If you are planning on visiting Colorado, I highly recommend driving through the Arapahoe Basin to check out the breathtaking scenery and very talented skiers and snowboarders!
